Samuel Sakker On Melbourne Digital Concert Hall

Tenor Samuel Sakker performs a program of German Art Song, with acclaimed Melbourne-based pianist Stewart Kelly and special guest soprano Rachel Wolseley.

Fresh from the stages of Europe, Samuel Sakker returns triumphantly to Melbourne for this evening of song at Hamer Hall. A former Royal Opera House company principal, and Jette Parker Young Artist, Samuel has sung the great tenor roles opposite some of the leading operatic stars of our time. For one night only, Samuel will present Robert Schumann’s extraordinary Dichterliebe “A Poet’s Love” Op. 48 alongside acclaimed Melbourne-based pianist Stewart Kelly. Special guest soprano Rachel Wolseley will join Stewart and Samuel to perform works by Richard Strauss. An evening not to be missed.
