The Acacia Quartet will be Ensemble-In-Residence at the Bowral Autumn Music Festival this upcoming weekend, March 27 – 29, 2015. 

They will be joined by notable guest artists pianist Gerard Willems, saxophonist Nick Russoniello, harpsichordist  Neal Peres da Costa, violinist Anna McMichael and narrator Rachel Gregg.

Violinist Myee Clohessy from Acacia Quartet, has curated a programme of  much-loved classics from the chamber music repertoire featuring music by Borodin, Schumann, Mozart, Vivaldi and Dvorak. Hidden amongst them are some lesser known delights by Gershwin, Kreisler, Schulhoff, Elena Kats-Chernin and Chick Corea.

Performed in the picturesque setting of St Jude’s Church in Bowral and the Mittagong Playhouse, amid the autumnal colours of the Southern Highlands. Drive down for the day of spend a long weekend immersed in this music.
