The Acacia Quartet will be joined by pianist Tamara-Anna Cislowska in a concert presented by Hunter’s Hill Music. Together they will perform one of the cornerstones of the chamber music repertoire, Johannes Brahms’ Piano Quintet.
Also on the programme, violinists Lisa Stewart and Myee Clohessy, violist Stefan Duwe and cellist Anna Martin-Scrase will perform Ludwig van Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 10 in E Flat Major, Op. 74 ‘Harp’ and Moya Henderson’s magical ‘Kudikynah Cave’ about the Franklin river and Tasmania’s wilderness.
Hunters Hill Music is a not-for-profit organisation affiliated with the Federated Music Clubs of Australia NSW Council Inc. whose purpose is to promote and enrich the musical life of their community. Hon President, Geoffrey Chard AM steers a dedicated committee to maintain a high standard of concerts each year.
