Bach Akademie Australia continues its exclusive dedication to the music of  J S Bach with a celebration which includes the much-loved loved Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 in F Major, BWV 1047, Gottes Zeit ist die beste Zeit (Actus Tragicus) BWV 106, Sonata No. 3 in G minor BWV 1029 for Viola da Gamba and harpsichord and Kantate Er rufet seinen Schafen BWV 175.

Bach Akademie Australia is the only Australian ensemble that is wholely dedicated to the music of J.S Bach. It is the brainchild of virtuoso violinist Madeleine Easton, who has been based in London for 17 years. During this time, she worked with the crème de la crème of the international music world and brings distinguished musical scholarship and authenticity to her interpretations of the works by this musical genius.

Soloists include Susannah Lawergren (courtesy of The Song Company), Richard Butler, Tobias Cole, Andrew Fysh, Richard Fomison, Daniel Yeadon and Daniel Peres da Costa (both appear courtesy of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music).
