Rachel Scott – ‘cellist and artistic director of Bach in the Dark

‘Cellist Rachel Scott is joined by clarinettist Deborah de Graaff for the second concert in the 2019 series of Bach in the Dark, unconventional classical music concerts featuring Scott and a changing roster of guest artists. The series is held in the crypt of St James’ church, providing an intimate and unique listening environment ideally suited to an engaging and accessible chamber music experience.

The programme includes works by J.S. Bach, Tartini, Béla Kovács, Manuel de Falla and a few surprises!

A complementary glass of Patrick Sullivan wine or non-alcoholic beverage is available to all patrons.

No reserved seating. You may wish to bring a cushion, as most seating is on wooden church pews.

Early booking is highly recommended in order to avoid disappointment.
