Join The Idea of North in The Recording Artist, a brand new concept that takes participants into a workshop where they will go behind the scenes and learn what it takes to make a successful studio album.

‘TION’ will guide you through the recording process from pre-production and recording tips, right through to the final mix. In this specialised extended workshop the singers from this premiere a capella quartet will give practical demonstrations of recording techniques from the performers’ perspective whilst showing you what goes on behind the mixing console with their sound engineer, Tod Deeley.

Participants even get the opportunity to experience the recording process with an a cappella song learnt during the day. This ensemble recording will then be yours to keep and enjoy!

Whether you’re planning on making your own album or just interested in finding out what goes on in the recording studio, The Recording Artist is a workshop not to be missed.

Please bring water for yourself for the workshop.

Tickets: $68.50 (includes Sticky Tickets booking fee)
