The Willoughby Symphony’s 2017 season closes with Triumph, conducted by celebrated Chief Conductor and Artistic Director, Dr Nicholas Milton AM, with special guest appearance by pianist Kristian Chong who will perform Rachmaninov’s indomitable Piano Concerto No. 3, which was unforgettably portrayed in the Australian movie Shine.

Following with Tchaikovsky’s towering Fourth Symphony, audiences will be taken on a haunting journey of tragic reality, passing dreams, and visions of happiness.

One of Australia’s leading pianists, Kristian has performed throughout Australia, the UK, China, France, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, USA, and Zimbabwe. His wide-ranging performance schedule finds him equally at home as concerto soloist, chamber musician and recitalist.
