The Willoughby Symphony presents the Last Night of the Proms with Chief Conductor and Artistic Director, Dr Nicholas Milton AM leading the full Willoughby Orchestra and Choir in this massive celebration of symphonic and choral masterworks including the Dambusters March, Jerusalem and Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March (Land of Hope and Glory).
The concert will also feature a special guest performance by outstanding young cellist Sarah Kim. In 2015, Sarah graduated with top marks with a Masters of Chamber Music at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg and has had the privilege of working with some of today’s most highly-regarded cellists including Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, Wolfgang Böttcher, Frans Helmerson, Ralph Kirshbaum, Jens Peter Maintz and Pieter Wispelwey.
Sunday’s performance is already sold out. as Dr Milton promises “the power of these incredible works in a spine-tingling performance that will leave your heart thumping and your spirit soaring!”
