It mixes themes of historical reflection, personal contemplation and a great deal of fun! In these spirited concerts The Music of Australia presents a cross-section of music and songs by contemporary Australian composers Hue Blanes, Calvin Bowman, David Hush, David Paterson and Dan Walker.

Baritone Simon Lobelson, brings these short songs to life celebrating the rich diversity which Australian music today offers. The programme ends in a trio of sea songs written for the novel configuration of baritone and two pianos.
