The Idea Of North – Smooth Mid-week Jazz At The Basement

When:  On 05-Oct-11, at 8 pm
Where:  The Basement, 29 Reiby Place, Circular Quay

A capella quartet The Idea of North bring their impossibly smooth harmonies back to The Basement this week riding on the success of their recent CD “Extraordinary Tale” released in July this year. This ARIA Award winning ensemble has been thrilling Sydney audiences for 17 years, with their fresh, contemporary weave of sound.

Joining the group whilst alto Naomi Crellin is on leave, is Joy Hague, jazz singer and graduate of Adelaide’s Elder Conservatorium.

Intimate, and relaxed, The Basement is one of  TION”s favourite haunts to the extent that they refer to it as their ‘second home’!

Drinks and dinner available for a mid-week treat in the city and bookings are highly recommended – these nights are always a sell out.
