Willoughby Symphony – Especially For Kids

Kids – raid your dress-up baskets and put on your grandest prince and princess costumes for an exciting journey through Ancient Persia at this special performance of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s exotic Scheherazade.

Introducing children to classical music in a fun and interactive way, Chief Conductor and Artistic Director, Dr Nicholas Milton AM will engage and entertain as he tells the legendary story of Scheherazade and the 1001 Nights in a fascinating symphonic narrative, performed by the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra.

The concert will be followed by face painting and other free activities from 3-4 pm and an opportunity to meet the musicians and explore the instruments of an orchestra. There will be prizes for the best dressed prince and princess.
