Kammerklang’s New Concert Series Showcases Australian Art Music Repertoire

Art music production company Kammerklang begins 2021 with Hidden Curiosities, a new concert series comprising Vestige in Sydney and Memento in Melbourne, championing existing, under-performed, Australian repertoire. The company, exclusively focusses on supporting local art music composers, and expands to its two-city format this year.
The first iteration of Hidden Curiosities and will feature Australian art song repertoire for soprano and piano performed by some of Australia’s leading musicians. Each concert program has been curated by Kammerklang and the performers, showcasing each duos’ skill, personal aesthetic and musicality, as well as the diversity of art song created in Australia.
Soprano Anna Fraser and pianist Jack Symonds in Sydney perform Vestige featuring music by Luke Styles, David Evans, Mark Oliveiro, Diana Blom, Ian Whitney, Robert McIntyre, Sean Quinn and Anne Cawrse.
In Melbourne, soprano Amelia Jones & Stefan Cassomenos perform Memento featuring music by Jessica Wells, Philip Eames, Robert McIntyre, Anne Cawrse, Keyna Wilkins, Diana Blom, Caerwen Martin, and Connor D’Netto.
