Acacia Quartet Joins Jane Rutter For Live At Lunch
Live at Lunch presents Ravel & Fauré featuring flautist Jane Rutter and the Acacia Quartet in the final concert of the 2017 Live at Lunch series.
The programme includes an all-time favourite, The Ravel String Quartet and the two haunting Pavannes for flute and strings by Fauré and Ravel. Audiences will be mesmerised by the virtuosity of Jane’s technique and elegance, and the brilliance of the Acacia Quartet, one of Australia’s leading chamber music ensembles comprising violinists Lisa Stewart and Myee Clohessy, violist Stefan Duwe and cellist Anna Martin-Scrase.
“Knighted by France last year, I am a devotee of French music – in which the musical narratives take us on such extraordinary lyrical journeys. It has been my life’s path to study and perform the music of the country that is my second home” says Jane.
Jane will also unveil the 2018 Live at Lunch Season, which features a stellar line-up of guest artists performing classics in the Concert Hall on The Concourse.
