Australian Brandenburg Orchestra Reprises Performance With CIRCA And Jane Sheldon For English Baroque
First there was French Baroque. Then there was Spanish Baroque. Here comes English Baroque.
In 2019, Paul Dyer and Yaron Lifschitz will join forces once again to sweep you across the Celtic Sea and bring you to their third daring collaboration, English Baroque with Circa.
The concert will feature an enchanting English masque and theatre music featuring compositions by Handel, Purcell and Dowland, while marvelling at the extreme physicality and grace of Circa acrobats in all-new choreography and gravity-defying feats.
Joining the line up is guest soloist soprano Jane Sheldon. Jane has had a long history with the Brandenburg and has recently returned to Sydney after a decade in New York.
To celebrate Canberra International Music Festival’s 25th Anniversary, English Baroque with Circa will receive its world premiere at Llewellyn Hall. After which, the series will continue in Sydney, Melbourne and then reach its finale with a one-night-only performance in Brisbane’s QPAC.
