Ayșe Gӧknur Shanal And Evgeny Ukhanov In Recital
Soprano Ayșe Göknur Shanal and pianist Evgeny Ukhanov present a recital of masterpieces for voice and piano that include a selection of art songs, traditional songs, operatic arias and a virtuosic piano solo.
Both performers are exceptional musicians; they are passionate and engaging, gaining a reputation as world class performers in chamber music. They began working together at the beginning of this year and they have since collaborated on several successful projects, including the release of their CD, Love and Life, featuring Schumann’s Frauenliebe und Leben, Wagner’s Wesendonck Lieder and selected works by Richard Strauss.
Both artists have previously presented programs in the Utzon Room at Sydney Opera House. This will be their first time performing together in this iconic venue with its superb acoustic.
