Bach In The Dark – 2014 Series Launch Combines Cello, Harp and Soprano
Cellist Rachel Scott continues her very popular concert series Bach in the Dark with the first performance of 2014 in which she is joined by soprano Jane Sheldon and harpist Genevieve Lang in the intimate setting of the crypt of St James’ Church, King Street in Sydney city.
The two guest artists performed in the series in 2012 and were so warmly received that Rachel invited them back for another concert.
Rachel says “Not only is the combination of instruments visually and aurally stunning, but Jane’s voice is just heavenly.’
The programme will include works by J.S. Bach, Mendelssohn and Martin Wesley-Smith.
