Bach In The Dark – With A Twist
Cellist Rachel Scott kicks of the year with the first concert in her returning series Bach in the Dark in the reverberent atmosphere of the crypt at St James’ Chuch. King Street.
She’ll be playing two of Bach’s Suites for solo cello – but with a twist. The Suite in G major will be linked to spoken word, read by actor Paul Armstrong. Bach’s Suite in C major will be accompanied by percussionist Ben Sibson, playing all sorts of hand drums from around the world.
