Bel A Cappella Presents Two Australian Premieres
Bel a cappella presents Salve Regina, their second concert for 2018 and their very first performance in the beautiful acoustic of St Augustine’s Church in Balmain.
With musical direction by Anthony Pasquill, the programme will include two Australian premieres and Poulenc’s rarely performed exquisite Mass in G.
Gregorio Allegri: Miserere mei, Deus/ Bernat Vivancos: Aeternam (Australian Premiere)/ Francis Poulenc: Mass in G/ Hildegard von Bingen: Spiritus Sanctus Vivificans/ Arvo Pärt: Prayer after the Canon (from Kanon Pokajanen)/ Galina Grigorjeva: In Paradisum (Australian Premiere) /and interpretations of Salve Regina by Hermann Contracts, Felice Anerio and David Basden.
