Borodin Quartet Musica Viva Masterclass

The Borodin Quartet will conduct a Musica Viva Masterclass in Sydney, offering talented young music students the opportunity to work with and be mentored by the musicians of this fine, world-famous ensemble. Each Musica Viva Masterclass offers a unique perspective on  interpretation, technique and performance, providing students, music teachers and audiences of all ages with an entertaining and enriching learning experience.

The Borodin Quartet is an extraordinary living tradition which recently celebrated its 70th anniversary. Formed in 1945, individual players have changed over time, but each player has carefully maintained and developed the ensemble’s performance style and history, preserving the famous sound of this remarkable institution for posterity.
