Chamber Music At Vaucluse House
Opera Australia and Sydney Living Museums reinvent the tradition of the salon to bring together music, history and conversation in the intimate settings of Sydney’s historic houses. Opera Australia has curated a special artistic programme, tailored to the unique history of each historic concert venue.
Immerse yourself in the opulent setting of Vaucluse House as you listen to the rarely played pianoforte in the intimacy of the drawing-room, in a program that features excerpts from Schubert’s Winterreise and the music of Mozart and Brahms.
After the concert, tour the fascinating interiors of Vaucluse House, home of the Wentworth family. Then, mingle with the artists over light refreshments.
