Chatswood Musical Society presents Miss Saigon
This week, Chatswood Musical Society presents Miss Saigon at the Concourse in Chatswood its very first production in this brand new venue.
The Broadway hit was first presented in 1989 by impresario Cameron Mackintosh. Written by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, the creators of Les Miserables, it’s set during the fall of Saigon in 1975 and tells the tale of a young Vietnamese girl and a GI whose love and lives are irrevocably changed by war.
Directed by Annie Veitch with Musical Direction by Therese Doyle and Choreography by Kelly Goldberg, the production is conducted by Greg Jones. Jeremy Curtin sings the role of Chris with Veronica Alonzo as Kim.
