Create NSW Funding Opportunities
Create NSW is inviting arts and cultural organisations and Local Government Authorities (LGAs) looking to secure long-term funding, to apply for NSW Government’s multi-year
funding, beginning with an Expression of Interest (EOI) for new applicants.
Multi-year funded arts organisations gain the assurance of longer-term financial support to build capacity and present a range of arts and cultural activities over a fouryear period, commencing 1 January 2025.
Create NSW Chief Executive Annette Pitman said multi-year funding provides a confidence-boost to the sector by supporting the longevity and sustainability of independent arts and cultural organisations and LGAs in NSW. “This long-range support gives independent arts organisations and Councils the ongoing commitment for four years, allowing them to plan for the future, explore new ideas, and strengthen resilience and capacity to adapt to change,” Ms Pitman said.
A new, streamlined application process means current multi-year funded organisations and LGAs will not need to complete the EOI stage.
Stage 1 Expression of Interest for new applicants: New arts and cultural organisations and LGAs not currently funded under a multi-year agreement with Create NSW will need to submit an EOI before Monday 1 March 2023.
Stage 2 Application: Current multi-year funded organisations and LGAs as well as
all successful EOI applicants will be invited to submit Multi-Year Funding applications
in mid-2023.
