Double trouble with the twins – Pinchgut rehearses for ‘Castor and Pollux’

Next week, Pinchgut Opera presents its much awaited and ‘top of the range’ annual offering for 2012, Rameau’s Castor and Pollux.  The soloists have been Sydney for nearly a month and work with the ensemble of singers and instrumentalists has begun.

Antony Walker is back to conduct the performances, with his Co-Artistic Director at Pinchgut, Erin Helyard at the harpsichord. The costumes are being sewn and the unique set is being assembled. Stay tuned for interviews with the two male leads haut – contre Jeffrey Thomson and bass Hadleigh Adams.
