Ensemble Offspring And Australian Art Orchestra In Exit Ceremonies
As part of the Sydney Festival, two of Australia’s most vibrant musical forces unite to present Exit Ceremonies, the debut collaboration between Ensemble Offspring and Melbourne’s Australian Art Orchestra.
Exit Ceremonies features two monolithic world premieres for pipe-organ and mixed ensemble, by composer/performers Austin Buckett from Sydney and Simon James Phillips from Berlin.
Combining turntables, strings, trumpet, electronics, vocals, pipe organ and percussion with the majestic pipe organ of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, this is a visceral and immersive sonic experience that creates a whole new world of sound.
