Inner West Chamber Music Festival In August

The Inner West Chamber Music Festival is happening soon in Leichhardt. This is a free event so there is no excuse not to go!
The Metropolitan Orchestra in partnership with the Inner West Council proud to present the second Inner West Chamber Music festival in August. This free concert weekend will see four incredible daytime concerts performed within the beautifully ornate Leichhardt Town Hall over one action-packed weekend.
Presented as part of the Inner West Council’s Live Music Activation program, these first-class, passion-fuelled chamber music experiences will shine the spotlight on TMO’s finest musicians who will appear in four uniquely different ensembles presenting music that is both engaging and distinctively captivating. Shows are conveniently presented at midday and 3:30 pm so that audiences can spend the entire day with family and friends enjoying first-class music, as well as the many culinary delights found in Sydney’s multi-cultural Leichhardt district.
Concerts are presented free however, all attendees must hold a valid ticket to gain entry as seating for each performance is strictly limited.
The program:
Saturday August 24th: 12pm – Percussion Ensemble/ 3:30pm – Brass Quintet
Sunday August 25th: 12pm – Violin & Classical Guitar Duo/ 3:30pm – Quintet Plus Clarinet / Vivaldi plus Mozart
