‘Into The Light’ Celebrates Emergence From Lockdown With Song

The Opera and Song Collective (TOSC) presents Into the Light, an afternoon of song performed by some of Sydney’s finest musicians. Into the Light celebrates emerging from the darkness and silence of our recent lockdown.
For your interest and enjoyment, TOSC brings you hidden gems from Rusalka, performed by Annabelle Chaffey, including the thrilling trios with Emily Turner, Susie Bishop and Margaret Trubiano, IphigĂ©nie en Aulide, with Tristan Entwistle as Agamemnon and a chorus of singers, Cunning Little Vixen and Dead Man Walking. Rachael Cunningham will sing the Vixen’s aria and and Sister Rose’s second act duet with the American mezzo-soprano, Margaret Trubiano. Pianist Sharolyn Kimmorley, AM is joined by flautist Christine Draeger to complete the ensemble.
