Nexas Quartet & Jane Rutter play Gershwin

Nexas Saxophone Quartet returns to Live at Lunch with their ingenious interpretations of the music of George Gershwin in Gershwin- the Glamour of the Sax. The quartet is joined by Artistic Director and flautist Jane Rutter performing hits from her best selling ABC Classic album Embraceable You: Jane Rutter plays the Gershwin Song Book.

The quartet comprises Michael Duke, Andrew Smith, Nathan Henshaw and Jay Burnes. The program includes the Cuban Overture, excerpts from An American in Paris, Three Preludes, Summertime, Someone to Watch Over Me and It Ain’t Necessarily So. Also in the programme is music by Claude Debussy, Cole Porter, and Irving Berlin. The musicians pay tribute to legendary stars Josephine Baker, Leslie Caron, Gertrude Lawrence and Audrey Hepburn.
