Omega Ensemble reconsiders the past and reconfigures the present in its upcoming program RE:CLASSICAL.
A global phenomenon and one of the highest-selling classical music recordings of all time, Max Richter’s Four Seasons Recomposed returns. Under the bow of Australian violinist Véronique Serret, Richter’s post-modern adaptation of Vivaldi’s classic leads this performance featuring the world premiere of Elena Kats-Chernin’s (reimagined) Clarinet Concerto and a bold new work by Grammy Award-winning American composer Jessie Montgomery.
The programe tours to Sydney (12 April), Melbourne (15 April), Newcastle (18 April) and Perth (20 April) from 12 April- 20 April, 2024.
