The Metropolitan Orchestra Cushion Concerts

The Metropolitan Orchestra (TMO) brings back the fantastic story of Jack and the Beanstalk in four cushion concerts. Created by Australian composer Adrian Hallam, this delightful childhood fairy tale comes to life in a magical musical setting for narrator and orchestra where audience members journey through the highs and lows of Jack’s adventures with the notorious giant!
Presented by one of Australia’s favourite children’s entertainers, Nat Jobe, and conducted by TMO’s magical Chief Conductor Sarah-Grace Williams, this is a chance to give children a fun and first-class musical experience with a unique opportunity to get up close to the instruments of a symphony orchestra. Little ones will fall in love with this fun and unique musical re-telling of a timeless story.
