The Metropolitan Orchestra Launches 2025 Season

In the first Met Concert of 2025, The Metropolitan Orchestra (TMO) will showcase a selection of exceptional music to blast off another exciting concert season within the beautifully ornate surrounds of Marrickville Town Hall.
The performance starts with Mendelssohn’s darkly restless and majestic Hebrides Overture followed by Krommer’s joyous Double Clarinet Concerto opus 35 featuring TMO Principal Clarinet Andrew Doyle and TMO Associate Principal Clarinet Alisha Coward. The afternoon of music will climb to a fitting climax with Beethoven’s boisterous Seventh Symphony.
