The Metropolitan Orchestra Plays Peter And The Wolf

One of the most popular children’s classical pieces of all time, Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf is being performed by The Metropolitan Orchestra, conducted by Sarah-Grace Williams and narrated by children’s entertainer Alex Packard.
This is the most popular show in TMO’s annual Cushion Concert series and it can start a lifetime love of classical music. This timeless tale will enchant, entertain and educate audiences both young and old. Take your children on this amazing musical journey with Peter and his Grandfather, the Bird, Cat, Duck, the Hunters, and of course the big, bad, Wolf. During this interactive Babies Proms performance, children are introduced to each of the musical instruments that represent the different characters of this timeless story. It’s a fun-filled and engaging first-hand musical experience with a unique opportunity to get up close to the instruments of a symphony orchestra.
