The Opera And Song Collective Songs From The Winter Palace

The Opera and Song Collective’s Winter Song Festival continues with a second recital on 1st June at 2.30 at Pitt St Uniting Church.
The concert will feature Russian songs and arias in Songs from the Winter Palace, performed by Ukrainian soprano, Alya Meyer performing alongside Russian soprano and Russian language coach, Natalia Melnik. Sopranos Jillian Halleron, Kerry Nicholson and Anya Tapani, with mezzo-sopranos Lisa Munckton, Agnes Sarkis and Jill Sullivan, tenors Hongxin Xiang and Kent McIntosh and basses David Hearnden and Lukas Tamayo will also perform with Claire Race at the piano. The songs are full of romance, folk melodies, fairy stories, love and passion.
