IFAC 2015 Semi-Finalists Announced
The semi-finalists in the 2015 IFAC Singing Competition have been announced following heats in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. National adjudicator Linnhe Robertson, assisted by local adjudicators, has selected the ten young singers who will progress to the semi finals, which will be held as a concert open to the public..

Jeremy Kleeman, 24, Bass Baritone, VIC
Tabatha McFadyen, 24, Soprano, NSW
Katherine McIndoe, 21, Soprano, NZ
Maximillian Riebl, 23, Counter Tenor, VIC
Benson Wilson, 24, Baritone, NZ
Each semi-finalist will sing two pieces from lieder to opera, accompanied by world-renowned accompanist and vocal coach, David Harper, in their bid to win a place in the finals. The event will be compered by Greg Lenthen with guest artists the Catalyst Saxophone Quartet
This year, for the very first time, one talented young singer will win the $5000 Judith Ward Lieder Scholarship, presented by Judith Ward and the Australian Opera Awards Committee (AOAC).
