IFAC 2019 Semi-Finals Feature Simon Tedeschi As Guest Artist
The semi-finalists in the 2019 IFAC Handa Australian Singing Competition will gather to vie for a place in the finals, with pianist Simon Tedeschi joining the line-up as guest artist, performing a surprise repertoire that he will introduce from the stage.
The 11 semi-finalists are sopranos Bianca Bacchiella (QLD), Josi Ann Ellem (NSW), Clare Hood (NZ) and Chloe Lankshear (NSW), mezzo-sopranos Stella Hannock and Rebecca Hart (both from NSW), tenors Manase Latu (NZ), and Louis Hurley (VIC), baritone Matthew Dixon (WA), bass-baritone Samson Setu (NZ) and bass Henry Pinder (QLD).
They will each perform two items, from lieder to opera, accompanied by world renowned accompanist and vocal coach, David Harper.
