IFAC Australian Singing Competition semi-final
Ten semi-finalists aged 21-25 from around the nation and New Zealand will meet this Wednesday 7th September to complete for a spot in the finals of the IFAC Australian Singing Competition and over $18,000 in prizes. The finalists will be announced the following day, September 8th. Performing with the singers will be legendary pianist and vocal coach David Harper.
On Thursday 8th September, mezzo – soprano Bernadette Cullen and David Harper will be a conducting a master class.
There is $200,000 up for grabs in the final, on Sunday October 30th, at 5.30, at the Opera Theatre of the Sydney Opera House. The finalists will perform with the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra conducted by Benjamin Northey.
