This is the first tour in the Musica Viva International Concert Season, which has seen Karin Schaupp and Pavel Steidl\u00a0travelling around Australia since mid February. They will perform a second concert at Angel Place on March 9th, before closing the tour in Adelaide on March 12th.<\/p>\n<p>Australian Schaupp and Czech Steidl, both equally acclaimed for their technical skill, bring their renowned onstage warmth and emotional expressiveness to a program of the utmost intimacy and beauty. Inspired by great guitar duos of the past (often husband and wife teams), the music traverses a history of the guitar itself: from the delicacy of the tiny \u2018Terz\u2019 guitar, through the elegant 19th century model beloved of Paganini, and on to the modern instrument found in so many homes today.
