Eleven singers from six countries will compete in the finals of the prestigious\u00a0Joan Sutherland & Richard Bonynge Bel Canto Award and Elizabeth Connell Prize Finals,\u00a0which have attracted singers from Australia, U.S.A. New Zealand, Netherlands, Italy and Latvia.<\/p>\n

They will compete for over $110,000 in prizes in the two competitions which will be hosted by Silvio Rivier.<\/p>\n

Judged by the legendary Richard Bonynge AC CBE with distinguished Australian singers Nance Grant AM MBE, Ghillian Sullivan, Bernadette Cullen and Fiona Janes, the singers will be accompanied by acclaimed pianist David Harper. The Bel Canto Award now celebrating its 5th year will feature Morgan Balfour, Annika Hinrichs, Tabatha McFadyen, Daniel Macey, Isabella Moore (NZ) and Rebecca Moret. The 2nd annual Elizabeth Connell Prize will feature Julie Adams (USA), Deirdre Angenent (Netherlands), Gunta Cese (Latvia), Teresa Romano (Italy) and Elisabeth Rosenberg (U.S.A.).<\/p>\n
