By all accounts, Car&#8217;s performance was outstanding, though questions abound about Holten&#8217;s production.<\/p>\n<p>Car&#8217;s Covent Garden debut came earlier this year when she sang the role of\u00a0Mica\u00ebla\u00a0in Bizet\u2019s <em>Carmen. <\/em>Her effort was described as &#8220;the evening\u2019s most complete performance;
