At the centrepiece of this concert is Schumann\u2019s <em>Fairy Tales<\/em>. Composed late in life after a period of dark depression he was inspired by the young spirit of Brahms who had come to visit him and gave him the incentive to compose.<\/p>\n<p>Also included are Samuel Hogarth\u2019s brand-new <em>Trio for clarinet, cello, and piano<\/em> composed especially for Omega and Bruch\u2019s <em>Eight\u00a0pieces for Clarinet, Viola, and Piano<\/em>.
