Tamara-Anna Cislowska<\/p>\n

The Metropolitan Orchestra presents its next concert Fever, <\/em>of\u00a0<\/em>an all Russian program, joined by\u00a0one of Australia\u2019s most recognised pianists, Tamara-Anna Cislowska, who is the soloist in Shostakovich\u2019s uncharacteristically bright Piano Concerto no. 2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Cislowska has performed internationally, with some of the world\u2019s leading orchestras and tonight appears for the first time with The Metropolitan Orchestra led by Chief Conductor Sarah-Grace Williams.<\/p>\n

Also on the programme, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol<\/em>\u00a0and Rachmaninoff\u2019s final work, the\u00a0Symphonic Dances,\u00a0<\/em>is considered a reflection of his life and longing for his homeland.<\/p>\n
