National Institute Of Circus Arts Auditions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-26535\" src=\"https:\/\/soundslikesydney.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Capture-5-323x240.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"323\" height=\"240\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) is\u00a0searching for Australia&#8217;s future circus stars during its national Audition Roadshow from Wednesday 25 September &#8211; Tuesday 8 October.\u00a0 <em>Applications are open until 2 September at www.nica.com.au<\/em><\/p>\n<p>As the only national arts training institute to offer a Bachelor of Circus Arts, positions at NICA are highly sought after and attract Australia\u2019s most talented, physically gifted and creative young performers. NICA graduates have joined nationally and internationally acclaimed companies including Cirque du Soleil, Dragone (China), Cavalia (Canada), NoFit State Circus (United Kingdom) alongside Australia\u2019s Circa, Circus Oz and Carnival Australia, to name a few.<\/p>\n<p>NICA seeks emerging circus artists from a broad range of\u00a0 backgrounds extending to dancers, gymnasts, martial artists, fire twirlers, theatre students, trickers, parkour enthusiasts, BMX riders and anyone else with exceptional physical abilities.<\/p>\n<p>Entry into the three-year Bachelor of Circus Arts degree is by audition, interview and successful completion of a medical assessment.
