They would love to welcome guests to a great Sunday afternoon as part of the Independent&#8217;s &#8216;A Prelude in Tea Concert&#8217;, featuring a scrumptious afternoon tea served from 2:30 &#8211; 3:30pm.<\/p>\n<p>The program:\u00a0Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart &#8211; SQ 15, K421 \/ Alice Chance &#8211; A Sundried Quartet \/ Antonin Dvorak &#8211; SQ 12, Op. 96 \u2018American\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart&#8217;s<em> String Quartet No. 15 in d Minor, K421<\/em> is the second of the quartets dedicated to Haydn and the only one of the set in a minor key. Though undated in the autograph, it is believed to have been completed in 1783, while Constanze Mozart was in labour. Constanze stated that the rising string figures in the second movement corresponded to her cries from the other room.<\/p>\n<p>Alice Chance is one of Australia\u2019s fast-emerging young composers. <em>A Sundried String Quartet<\/em> is her latest composition for string quartet, specially commissioned for Acacia Quartet.<\/p>\n<p>Dvor\u00e1k&#8217;s famous <em>String Quartet No. 12, Op. 96, &#8216;American&#8217;<\/em>.
