The conversation will be available for live streaming at 1:30pm AEDT on Thursday 4 November via <a href=\"https:\/\/events.zoom.us\/ev\/AObqtfOWvMAjvNhmEQgW1cJCoAiD5jpvBjiADlXbv2EDE4aqr8YU6USZ7UveNBS_H8qbwz0\">Zoom Events.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Chosen for their musical breadth and depth, their leadership, courageousness and interesting career paths, the panel will explore the diversity of our Australian music community, how we connect with each other, and how we can support each other\u2019s creative output, building capacity for a more sustainable future. The panel will address issues surrounding diversity, sustainability and creative community.<\/p>\n<p>This year we are excited to be approaching things a little differently with the panel discussion,\u201d explains Australian Music Centre CEO,\u00a0Catherine Haridy. \u201cIn a world that has been irrevocably shaken by the COVID-19 pandemic, Australian music and artistic practice has evolved and changed to address its environment. I&#8217;m most excited about hearing our esteemed panellists&#8217; inspirational stories, their perseverance and their ability to build their capacity for creativity through an unusually challenging period of time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Peggy Glanville-Hicks Address is an annual forum for ideas relating to the creation and performance of Australian music. Named after the Australian composer Peggy Glanville-Hicks, it has ignited debate and highlighted crucial issues since its establishment in 1999.<\/p>\n<p>The Peggy Glanville-Hicks 2021 panel discussion will go live on <a href=\"https:\/\/events.zoom.us\/ev\/AObqtfOWvMAjvNhmEQgW1cJCoAiD5jpvBjiADlXbv2EDE4aqr8YU6USZ7UveNBS_H8qbwz0\">Zoom Events at 1:30pm AEDT<\/a> on Thursday 4 November.
