‘Music Divine’ -The Song Company At The Art Gallery
Sydney’s premiere a capella ensemble the Song Company celebrates its 30th anniversary with four centuries of early vocal music at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. This concert in the Resonate series features Five Madrigals of Monteverdi, Three French Ditties and Five English Madrigals interspersed with some of the greatest medieval songs, from the famous Carmina Burana codex to the Spanish Cantiga collection.
The concert will be preceded by a champagne reception and private viewing of Theatre of dreams, theatre of play: nō and kyōgen in Japan.
