New Board Chair For Opera Australia
Opera Australia announced this morning that Rod Sims AO will be taking over the role of Opera Australia Board Chair from Professor Glyn Davis AC at the end of September 2022.
Opera Australia says “He brings a wealth of knowledge and wisdom to Opera Australia thanks to his extensive business experience in many countries – including eleven years as Chair of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). He is also professor of public policy at the Australian National University and Chair of the Competition Research Policy Network at the Centre for Economic Policy Research in Paris.”
CEO of Opera Australia Fiona Allan comments “I’m really looking forward to working with Rod as we implement our vision and strategy for Opera Australia and fulfill our purpose of becoming an opera company for a 21st century Australia.”
