Tonight sees the opening in Sydney of Puccini’s Tosca, Opera Australia’s revival of John Bell’s production which premiered in 2013 and was seen again in 2015. The 2017 season sees US-based Romanian-born conductor Christian Badea returning to Sydney to conduct this opera.

SoundsLikeSydney spoke to Christian Badea about ‘life with Tosca’ when ths production premiered in 2013. He had so many interesting insights into the opera that we have reprinted the link to the interview. Enjoy!
