There is an exciting new music festival launching in Sydney this August, featuring a range of events by some of Sydney’s most lauded performers. The inaugural Eastside Sydney Music Festival (ESMF) is curated by Neal Peres Da Costa (Professor and Associate Dean of Research Sydney Conservatorium of Music) to showcase the magnificent artistry of Australian musicians in one week of diverse musical events.
The 2019 ESMF presents 10 events including concerts and presentations by Ironwood, Australian Haydn Ensemble, Muffat Collective, the Sidere Duo, Jack Purdon Quartet, The Living Room Theatre, the Judgment of Paris, The Bard Band, Nicholas Russoniello, Koen van Stade, Nathan Cox, and Esther Yae Ji Kim.
Presenting instrumental ensembles, choral music, duos, cabaret and jazz, the ESMF presents music from that past to the contemporary.
