North Sydney Youth Symphony Performs
In its final concert for the year, the North Sydney Youth Symphony will present an exciting programme of works ranging from Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony to Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio espagnol, and featuring violinist Josephine Chung (Prizewinner, Fine Music 102.5 Young Virtuoso 2014; winner of the 2013 National Youth Concerto Competition) as soloist in Saint-Saëns’ Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso.
The North Sydney Youth Symphony was formed in 2014 under Artistic Director Thomas Tsai. It comprises exceptional young musicians at tertiary and advanced secondary level, many of whom are former members of the disbanded SBS Radio and Television Youth Orchestra.
