Opera Australia unveils ‘South Pacific’
Opera Australia has just anounced an outstanding cast for its winter production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific.
Baritone Teddy Tahu Rhodes moves from the opera stage to the musical as Emile de Becque, playing alongside four time Gold Logie award-winning actress Lisa McCune as Nelie Forbush.
In the supporting roles are Kate Ceberano as Bloody Mary who will sing the legendary ‘Bali Hai’and Eddie Perfect (recently seen as Mack the Knife in The Threepenny Opera) as Luther Billis.
