Out of town – Sydney Camerata and Nick Russioniello perform in Newcastle and Penrith
Sydney Camerata Quartet (Musica Viva’s 2012 Rising Stars) join with Nick Russoniello (2011 ABC Young Performer of the Year) in a unique program of music for Saxophone & Strings.
Together they will perform an exciting program of music by composers including Copland, Piazzolla, Bartok and Chick Corea. The late Australian composer Eric Gross will be featured in the Penrith concert and Newcastle will receive the premiere of ‘Between Worlds’ by the Sydney-based composer Jeremy Rose.
